About the team
We Welcome You
At Hendersonville Movement, we’ve built more than a studio—we’ve created a community. Our space is designed to be welcoming, supportive, and inspiring, so you actually look forward to walking through the door. Whether you’re brand-new to movement or ready to expand your practice, we’ll meet you where you are and help you grow with confidence.
Our team of experienced instructors share one mission: to help you reach your goals safely, effectively, and joyfully.

Camille Lawson, Pole Instructor
Camille grew up in a family of fitness and outdoor enthusiasts, spending her early years biking, playing tennis, horseback riding, and working at a rock climbing gym. Her love for movement has always been rooted in curiosity, adventure, and pushing her limits. After years of running, bouldering, and practicing yoga, she began seeking more expressive forms of movement — and found her way to dance and pole.
In December 2017, Camille took her first pole class and instantly fell in love. She began teaching in 2019 and has since expanded her practice to include aerial yoga, lyra, and sling. In 2023, she competed at Pole Sport Nationals in Raleigh, NC, earning 2nd place in the Entertainment Senior Level 3 division.
Camille has trained with a wide range of industry professionals, including Doris Arnold, Jax Spencer, Gemma Lux, Hogweed McNasty, Medusa Mamiii, Bentley Rebel, and Heidi Coker. Today, she teaches pole, aerial yoga, flexibility, and beginner lyra — helping students explore strength, confidence, and creativity through movement.

Sarah Belanger-Payne, Pole Instructor
Sarah has been pole dancing since 2021 and brings a strong background in both personal training and social work. For her, movement has always been a powerful tool for stress relief, expression, and connection. Since starting her pole journey, she has competed in three pole competitions and performed in numerous showcases and freestyle events.
With years of experience in teaching group fitness, Sarah also spent nearly two years teaching pole in Richmond. Beyond pole, she has trained in Lyra and aerial silks — though pole remains her first love, she enjoys exploring all forms of aerial movement. Sarah’s classes are grounded in strength, creativity, and encouragement, making them a welcoming space for all levels.

Meg Yvonne, Owner & Pole Instructor
I was born and raised in the cold but beautiful state of Maine. Thanks to hibernating in the gym while the long winters passed, I discovered my passion for fitness. I have expertise in many different training modalities, from CrossFit, to running, and have finally landed on strength training, specifically Powerlifting.
In 2016, I began working as an independent personal trainer and have not looked back. I have trained all over the US and even in Spain! I’ve been blessed to have helped so many wonderful clients, and I can’t wait to continue the journey.
I pride myself in a science based and structured approach to training. Something that fits into your life, is enjoyable, and has long-term, sustainable results.

Rachel Alonzo, Belly Dancing Instructor
Originally from Nashville and raised in Florida, Rachel discovered her love for belly dance at the age of 10. Inspired by a deep fascination with Egyptian culture, she began training alongside her mother under a local instructor. The two later joined a belly dance troupe in Jacksonville, FL, performing at events across the region.
By 18, Rachel launched her solo career and spent much of her 20s working professionally — dancing regularly at Mediterranean restaurants, hookah lounges, and nightclubs. After her husband completed his military service, they chose to settle in Western North Carolina to raise their family.
Now pursuing a degree in horticulture, Rachel is excited to return to the studio and share her passion for dance with the Hendersonville Movement community.

Keri Ann VanLandingham, Yoga Instructor
Keri Ann has been teaching yoga since 2018 and brings over 14 years of experience in strength training, including a year of powerlifting. She blends functional movement and mobility work with traditional yoga to help people own their movement and build confidence they can carry beyond the mat.
Her training began in 2016 with a 200-hour certification from Asheville Yoga Center, plus over 300 hours of ongoing education. Keri Ann’s classes invite students to explore their bodies with curiosity, try new ways of moving, and develop tools that add value to their daily lives.
She creates a genuine, no-judgment space where everyone can show up as they are and connect with movement that works for them.
